Wed 10/24 – Sun 10/28 Tillis Hills in the Citrus portion Withlacoochie Forest

15 campsites reserved all with electric/water, fire ring & picnic table – can put up electric or portable pen, tie-out behind campsites, 9 stalls also available. Cost: $15.00/night for campsites, $5.00/stalls, and $2.00/tie-out or pens Restrooms & showers, dump station available. Riding is in the Citrus portion of the Withlacoochie Forest – lease make reservations with Joan & Gail and we need a check to hold your reservation. Approximately 4.5 hour drive from Davie Sorry, no pets allowed


Fri 11/9 – Mon 11/12 Sebastian Buffer South & Poker Ride

Primitive camping, water for horses, bring electric pens (no trees to tie-out) Fees: $4.00/night to camp – we’ll participate in the Poker Ride on Sat. $20.00 per hand which includes lunch & door prize tickets. About 30 miles of marked trails Approx 3 hour drive from Davie

Thurs 11/22 – Sun 11/25 Henscratch Winery Thanksgiving Campout

Spend Thanksgiving dinner with the club or arrive on Fri. Primitive camping, water for the horses, electric pens or tie-outs. 10 acre grassy pasture for group turnout. Covered pavilion with tables, chairs, & kitchen for meals. Lots of fun activities, tour the Winery & environs. Nice campout for non-riding members. Approx 3 hour drive from Davie


Thurs 12/27 – Tues 1/1/08 Alafia River State Park

Come for as many days as you can. Must call Reserve America to get a campsite – call now as many are already taken. 30 total campsites & all have electric/water, picnic table & fire ring. $18.75/night includes horses. There is also a daily riding fee so you might want to purchase a yearly park pass if you camp at several State Parks. Tie-out posts provided or bring your electric pen, etc. Restrooms and showers, pavilion with picnic tables for group meals. Lovely well marked scenic trails and hills to ride. Approx 4 hour drive from Davie


Fri 1/18- Mon 1/21 Dupuis Preserve

Primitive camping, 3 barns w/ a total of 40 stalls on first/come first serve basis, 12 large multi-horse paddocks, bring electric pens or tie-outs, restrooms, showers and dump station 25,000 acres of trails to ride and only a 2 hour drive from Davie. Please bring firewood if possible. Camping is free. Sorry, no dogs allowed.


Fri 2/15 – Mon 2/18 Dade 30th Anniversary Campout @ Forever Fla
TB: Dade SFTR

Primitive camping, restrooms & showers, electric pens or tie-outs for horses. Area can fit approximately 50 rigs so you will need to make your reservations as soon as Dade is taking them. You will need to be a member of Dade SFTR as well – dual membership is only $15.00. 5,000 acres of pristine Fla woods – rides will be guided as this is private eco-system property. There may be cabins available as well to rent. Approx 3.5 hour drive from Davie Note – they will plan a variety of special activities such as catered meals, entertainment, etc. More details on prices and special events as they are known.


Fri 3/14 – Sun 3/16 Hickory Hammock

Primitive camping, water pump for the horses (bring your own water if you can). Electric pens or tie-outs, covered pavilion for group meals. Really pretty riding in hundred year-old oak hammocks. Permit is free, trail boss may schedule events that would have a fee. Approx 2.5 hour drive from Davie


Tues 4/1 – Sun 4/6 Doe Lake Spring Break Campout

Primitive camping, multiple water locations, bring hoses, tie-out posts provided or bring electric pens, restrooms & showers, kitchen with 2 fridges, ice machine, microwave, and seating for group meals & activities. Ride in the Ocala National Forest and Sunnyhill, a nearby water management area. Can swim horses in the lake as well. Cost is $25.00 per campsite, reserve with trail bosses. Approx 5 hour drive from Davie. One of the nicest places to camp and ride in Fla.
